OUR WORK IN ISRAEL

Integration of Haredim (Israel)

The demographic growth of Israel's Haredi (ultra-Orthodox) community represents a significant opportunity to channel this learning-centered population's considerable potential toward Israel's security, economic vitality, and cultural richness.

We envision the Haredi community as a full partner in shaping Israel's future—contributing to and benefiting from both civil rights and responsibilities while maintaining its distinctive identity within Israel's diverse society.

We invest in initiatives that drive systemic change in education, community development, and military service, particularly for young Haredi men. Our approach strengthens emerging moderate voices within the community—leaders positioned to shape its trajectory in the coming decades.

Examples:

1 Belz Project : Hotam (Teach First Israel) – incorporating English and math into a Belz Hasidic elementary school core curriculum for the first time

2 KodCode: A joint initiative of the Avratech organization and the IDF, the program trains Haredim for technological service in the army.
